Tamil super star Vijay reached Alappuzha for the shoot of his new film ‘Surra’ directed by S.T Raj Kumar. Tamanna is the heroine.   Major portion  the film will be shot at Alappuzha. Two schedules were planned. First schedule with 20 days and second with 50 days.  The story is about the people who earn their living by catching fish. Director Rajkumar himself had penned the story, dialogue and screen play. The  shoot started at Thottapally near Alpppuzha on Friday. M.S Prabhu is handling the camera. Mani Sharma has scored the music. Under the banner of Murukan Cine Arts, Shajini Murukan is producing the film. He was the producer of super hit film ‘Kaadalukku Maryadai’ .
