Tamil-Malayalam film actor Bala exchanged engagement ring on Monday morning with Asianet star singer 2007 fame Amritha Suresh in a function at Taj Earth Hotel in Nedumbassery near Ernakulam. Other than the close relatives of both Bala and Amritha, director Roshan Andrews, actor Sanker, producer Jagadeesh Chandran and Radhika, wife of actor Suresh Gopi attended the function.
Amritha hails from Idappally near Ernakulam. Bala is a Tamilian and started his career by acting in Tamil films. Now he is more engaged in Malayalam films. Bala was the guest during the telecast of Starsinger programmes. This acquaintance reached them into the path of love. He courted Amritha and she gave a positive reply and intimated their parents. Though the engagement was over they have to wait one year to fullfil their dreams as the marriage was fixed for next year.
Bala has acted in a number of Malayalam films including ‘Kalabham’, ‘SMS’ , ‘Chembada’ , ‘Venal Maram’ , ‘Big B’, ‘Sagar alias Jacky’, and ‘Puthiya Mukham’. Bala’s brother is a noted director in Tamil film industry.
