South Indian film actress Lekshana’s engagement took place at Thiruvanathapuram last week. She is getting married to Dr. Sajid Pillai, who is working in America. Marriage will be in June. She entered tinseldom as a child artist in Fazil’s film ‘Kaiyethum Doorathu’. In Mohan Lal film ‘Balettan’ she donned the role of Lal’s sister and she was one of the heroines of Mamoooty in ‘Parunthu’ . ‘Venal Maram’ with Bala and ‘Sound of Boot’ are other Malayalam films. In Vijay film ‘Sivakasi’ she donned his sister’s role. ‘Thirumakan’ and ‘Esa’ are the other Tamil films. She had also acted in two Telugu movies. After marriage, probably she will settle in America.
