Thiruvananthapuram: Director Jayaraj, who received the sixty fifth National Film Award for his film ‘Bhayanakam’, on Friday, become named the ‘best director’ by the Kerala Film Critics Association.
While the award for the best film went to Dileesh Pothan’s ‘Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum’, its lead actor Fahadh Faasil gained the award for the best actor. Manju Warrier grabbed the best actress award.
State award winner Indrans become named for the Critics Jubilee award, even as song director M K Arjunan received the lifetime achievement award. Films Clint, Sadrishya Vakyam 24:29, Hadiya, Eliyammachiyude Adhyathe Christmas and Kinnar received the unique jury award.
