Applications have been invited from citizens of India who are natives of Tamil Nadu for admission to the MBBS/BDS Degree Courses for 2010-11, in Government/Self-financing Medical/Dental Colleges coming under the purview of the Single Window System in Tamil Nadu.

Only one application has to be submitted for MBBS/BDS. Cost of Application is Rs.500/-. Special Category Application fee (if applicable) is Rs.100/- Application form with Prospectus can be obtained from 17.5.2010 to 31.5.2010 from the following Government Medical Colleges and Tamil Nadu Government Dental College on all working days
(i) Madras Medical College, Chennia-3 (ii) Stanley Medical College, Chennai-1 (iii) Madurai Medical College, Madurai-20 (iv) Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai-10 (v) Thanjvur Medical College, Thanjavur (vi) Chengalpattu Medical College, Chengalpattu (vii) Tirunelveli Medical College, Tirunelveli (viii) Coimbatore Medical College, Coimbatore (ix) Mohan Mumaramangalam Medical College, Salem. (x) KAP Visvanathan Government Medical College, Trichy (xi) Thoothukkudi Govt Medical College, Thoothukkudi (xii) Kanyakumari Medical College, Asaripallam, Nagercoil (xiii) Vellore Medical College, Adukkamparai, Vellore (xiv) Theni Medical College, Theni (xv) Dharmapuri Medical College, Dharmapuri (xvi)Thiruvarur Medical College, Thiruvarur, (xvii) Villupuram Medical College, Villupuram (xviii) Tamil Nadu Government Dental College, Chennai-3
Application form can be obtained on a written requisition to the Dean/Principal of these colleges accompanied by a Crossed Demand Draft from any nationalized bank, taken after 15th May, 2010, in favour of ‘The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai-3’, payable at Chennai.
SC/ST Applicants are exempted from payment of Application fee. They can obtain the application by submitting a written requisition enclosing two sets of attested Xerox copies of the Community Certificate and the Plus Two Mark Sheet. Application can also be downloaded from www.tnhealth.org or from www.tn.gov.in and submitted with the Demand Draft as applicable.
Those applying under Special Categories [(i) Children of Freedom Fighters (ii) Children of Ex-Servicemen (iii) Eminent Sports Persons (iv) Physically Challenged persons] should submit Special Category Application along with Common Application form. For each Special Category, one application has to be submitted. Those applying under ‘Physically Handicapped Category’, have to enclose the certificate as specified in the Prospectus.
Those applying under Sports Quota, should hand over the application with necessary documents, only in person, at the Office of the Selection Committee, Chennai-3. Filled in applications should reach the Office of the Secretary, Selection Committee, No 162, Periyar EVR High Road, Kilpauk, Chennai-10, either in person or by Post, latest by 5 pm on 31.5.2010.

I MISSED MY MEDICAL COUNCILING ON JULY28.BECAUSE I COULD NOT ABLE TO ATTEND IT. BUT ,STILL I AM INTERESTED IN MEDICAL. MY CUTOFF IS 179.75.& my COMMUNITY IS SCA .MY REQUEST IS TO GIVE THE OPPORTUNITY to ATTEND THE MEDICAL COUNCILING .STILL I AM VERY VERY HOPEFUL TO THIS .
